If for any reason you are not satisfied with a Discovery Store purchase, simply return the item to us for an exchange or refund within 30 days of delivery. Please see below for details, rules and restrictions.

Returning by Mail:

3. Be sure to indicate your preference for an exchange or refund.

Our Return Policy:

Discovery Store offers an exchange or refund for the full purchase amount of most items returned within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, we offer an exchange or store credit in the amount of the current selling price (excludes Meade telescopes and accessories).

Returns must be accompanied by an original sales receipt, and items must be returned in new condition with the original packaging and contents (defective items exempted). For items returned without a receipt, Discovery Store only offers an exchange or store credit at the current selling price. The following rules also apply to all returns and exchanges:

• Gift cards and certificates cannot be refunded.
• All telescope returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt, unused and in the original packaging for a refund or exchange.
• All DVDs, CDs and computer software must be unopened to qualify for a refund.
• Defective DVDs, CDs and computer software may be exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund.
• High Definition DVD (HD DVD) format DVDs cannot be returned.
• Corporate gift orders cannot be returned, however defective items may be exchanged for the identical item.
• Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
• We cannot accept C.O.D. packages.
• Most exchanges and returns are processed within two weeks of receipt.
