Feb-27-2008 Codie from Jacksonville, FL I bought this for my son for christmas. It isnt what I expected. It is loud but I still enjoy it. My son was upset because you cant see the planets if the lights are off.
Dec-16-2007 Patti from Longmont, CO. A great item! We got one for our daughter two years ago, and she still loves it! We recently purchased another for our sons room, because he loved his sisters planets so much. The yellow light and the sound (gears turning)are actually soothing to our children (3 & 1). I would highly recommend this product to others that like space & planets!
Nov-24-2007 Michelle from Belton, TX My nephew has this and now my son wants it. I think it is pretty neat for just $30. My son loves space, so he will enjoy it. I dont think the noise is excessive. It doesnt really matter to me if it makes noise. Buyers may want to know the picture on the website and in catalogs is a bit deceptive. The real thing is much smaller. Im glad my son saw it in person and is not expecting it to be bigger than it is. Hes going to love it though.
Oct-24-2007 Tim from Plymouth, MI I bought it for my 3 year old, who is now 4, he loves it. One issue, Venus is too small and Mars is too big, it looks like they got switched in manufacturing (Color and details are correct, sizes are not)
Oct-08-2007 Alaina from Ansonia, Connecticut Ive had this for a month, and I STILL LOVE IT! It was different than what I expected. I thought itd be bigger and bright, but the planets are actually small. The biggest size is like a baseball, and the smallest is like a marble, so be careful not to lose any. The light is not bright and is more of a low-dim. Theres a slight buzzing noise, but doesnt bother me at all. Im buying a couple for my little cousins who wants em :D (And Sanjay, theres 9 planets).
