This is gripping television! Keep your American Idol and Greys anatomy, this show really brings you up close and personal to the life-threatening dangers and excitement of Everest! WHenever I put it on, i better watch out, cuz i will not leave the TV set. Great for any Adventurer at heart or even for those who dont see the majesty and dangers of Everest-it made a believer out of me!!

I got this for my son for christmas and I ended up watching it with him. Absoulutely amazing series and cant wait until the next arrives in the mail. Watched it in three days and I am almost certain to everyone buying this item, you will not be disapointed.

This is one of the best, most addictive shows Ive ever watched. Its reality TV at its best. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. You actually get to know the climbers and can almost feel what theyre going thru. The footage of the Himilayas is breathtaking. The only way it could get better is to be there yourself. Thanks discovery for putting on such an awesome show. I cant wait to get season 2!!

i agree everyone here. This show is absolutely amazing in its raw, unflinching depiction of the harsh realities of climbing Mt. Everest. What amazes me is that there are quite a number of ill-prepared, non-qualified wanna-bes. Also, on an offhand note, i found it a bit humerous that that was a line to reach the summit. The thought of having to go thru all that the mountain can throw at you, then, at the end, have to stand in line like one would at a common bathroom was darkly humerou

Ive been DYING for this to come out on DVD!! This show is completely addictive! When I first started watching it I thought these people were crazy; NOW I KNOW theyre crazy ... but I totally understand why they do this! Once you get Everest in your blood, youre hooked forever!
