My son got this for Christmas from the Discovery store and was so disappointed. You might as well bang the drumsticks on any piece of plastic. Not drum like at all. Big waste of money.

Very poor sound quality. It looks like it has 2 speakers, but it only has one - on the right side. Not a very pleased 9yo on Christmas morning when he could hardly hear the sounds he was trying to make.

Hard to get the pads to make sounds. Like the Digital Keyboard I also purchased, the on/off switch doesnt work so you cant shut the thing off.

Great Idea. But you have to strike the playing surfaces so hard that doing so overpowers the electronic drumbeats and sounds-makes for terrible acoustics.

I gave this to my 5 year old son for Christmas and he loved it - best feature - plug in the Ipod and headphones and drum to his favorite songs. It is one of his favorite gifts this year. I highly recommend it and I plan on buying the sing-along microphone to add to the fun.
